They immediately saved my family so much money on our prescriptions by taking the time to find the lowest cost available for our generic medications, as well as helping us get savings cards for the brand medications. Over the years the pharmacists', staff, and delivery drivers have become our family. There have been times we have been met after hours for a medication that we had to have. "Last year, my husband slipped on an iced over spot in our driveway crushing all the bones in his little finger resulting in partial amputation. Matt at Helping Hand Pharmacy met us, even though they were closed, to fill my husband's prescriptions after his surgery. I'm certain that Walgreens, Kroger, or CVS would not have opened for us and filled his medications. We wouldn't have even been able to reach them via phone. It was critical to get the antibiotic needed after amputation as quickly as possible. Fortunately, all we had to do was call/text Matt and he was there for us. You do not get this service from big chain pharmacies."

"I appreciate Mettesave & everyone who works there. My scripts are always filled in a timely manner. If they are out of something it usually arrives the next day. When my doctor calls in a script, it is ready by the time I arrive. My brother has cancer and his insurance requires that he use a chain pharmacy. I have personally seen countless times where my brother would go to pick up his medications and they would not be ready that day or the next without anyone bothering to inform him. Just wait for a text for cancer medications is all that he can do. My uncle had hernia surge and waited all evening until almost closing time to get his pain medications filled. These big wait times are non-existent at my local pharmacy Mettesave Drugs. Im more than a number, I am treated like family. We need our local pharmacies."

“When my son was so sick with the stomach virus that he could barely hold his head up, Fair met me at San-Mor Drugs and Gifts on a Sunday morning after church to fill his prescription for Zofran. Not to mention all of the other times where she has brought medications to our house when my kids are sick and I couldn't leave them at home! I will never use a big chain pharmacy when I have someone like Fair, or an independent pharmacy available. These people work their fingers to the bone, and care so much about our community! They should not be subjected to the unscrupulous practices of PBMs. They deserve a level playing field."

"As a provider I greatly rely on my independent pharmacy in town. They are the ones that I consult with and can call to get a question answered quickly. The larger pharmacies are not accessible to patients or providers when needed. Our local pharmacists know their patients by name and make sure there are no medication interactions between medications prescribed by multiple doctors. The patients also feel comfortable knowing they can trust their provider and pharmacist have a relationship. I am a family provider and I strive for the greatest quality of care. This can best be achieved in collaboration with my local independent pharmacists."
